Fuel surcharge is applied to the base delivery rate only, before HST. Rate is reviewed monthly based on Canadian diesel prices published by Natural Resources Canada.
Charia's fuel surcharge is reviewed on the first of each month and is based on the average Canadian on-highway diesel price published by Natural Resources Canada.
The surcharge is expressed as a percentage of the base delivery rate and is added before HST. It is not applied to additional fees (rural premium, after-hours, etc.).
The current rate of 37.5% is effective for April 2026 and is consistent with rates charged by major Canadian medical couriers.
